A good example of these types of floors, which everyone knows, is the Pergo style floor. Laminates range from 7 mm to 9 mm in thickness. They are made mostly of glue and pressed together with a thin layer of plastic on top which looks like the hardwood of your choice.
Although we do not sell Pergo, we sell a comparable product called Quick-step, which has the same look and feel. The Quick-step products have fooled many a customer, who would have sworn they were looking at a real hardwood floor. They are very durable and can be floated over a slab or in-floor heat.
